How does arranging replacement for a shift work?

You are free to arrange a replacement, but this is your own responsibility! Read on for the ins and outs.

If it turns out that you cannot make it last-minute due to illness or, for example, a double appointment, it is possible to arrange a replacement for your shift. This does not have to be discussed with the client. Unless the client specifically indicates that it does not wish to use replacement. Then there is a no-show without sanction.

Keep the following points in mind when arranging a substitute:

- Always discuss this with the client.

- The replacement must be 18+ and is required to bring identification

- The replacement must be representative and comply with the dress code.

- Doing his job well. The replacement works on your behalf, so if it does not work properly, your rating will be negatively affected.

- As a flex worker responsible for going through the checkout. So communicate the worked hours.

- You are responsible for arranging payment among yourselves. The earnings of the shift worked will be deposited into your account. Keep this in mind to avoid misunderstandings!

The replacement does not need to be in possession of a VAT ID, since he works under your name and therefore VAT ID. Is your replacement very enthusiastic about the work? Advise him to officially start as a freelancer and get started via Level.works!
